Took the boat out and part failed within 4hr. Stranded on the lake and had to remove the intake hose to allow air to the engine for a 3000rpm idle to get back to the dock. Do not buy it!! And can't return as it's past 30days.

It fixed the issue for 15 boating hours but now the boat shuts off during idle. I just ordered another one so hopefully round two works. I also changed the IAC filters as well. That didn’t help. I’m also ten days outside of the return window so I can’t send the old one back.

Worked with Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI engine, easy to install, same as OEM.

Fingers crossed, so far the warning horn has stopped and the engine seems to start and run as it should. Installed on my 2005, 28' SunDancer. Easy install, and saved big bucks not having to take it to the marina. I'll buy another for the port engine, just in case.

After throttling back to idle, from any speed ,the engine continually stalled. After installing the new IAC and gasket from this seller, it solved the problem completely. Very satisfied that the problem is gone. The installation also revealed the "IAC muffler" was missing, so i suspect that might of had something to do with the IAC failing. Also installed the small spongy-filters (IAC mufflers) by the carb in their seated area. The boat has 230 hrs, and had the original IAC installed. Note that I wasn't easy getting the old IAC off. The original IAC is painted and when i tried to pull off the old IAC, the mounting plate came with it. So, had to remove the two hoses from the plate and then separate the IAC from the mounting plate. Wasn't easy, had to use a putty-knife to gently pound between them (not a chesile or screwdriver that might damage the mounting plate). then the mounting plate had some paint that needed to be gently scrapped off to ensure the gasket set well. (i.e., small job got a little more time consuming). Anyway, so glad i purchased the IAC here (saving ~$100 from the OEM part) and the engine runs great. No more stalling or whistling sound at higher RPMs.
