Probably one of the better constructed shirts in this style. It is opaque and flattering, but note that it is quite noisy-if you have short arms, you will probably want a smaller size

I purchased this for a men’s ballet shirt to match a maiden female costume! It worked out perfectly and at a fraction of the cost of a real ballet tunic!

Dress like a pirate day? This has got you covered.OK no one needs a pirate shirt—but seriously, if you're reading this, you want a pirate shirt, and let me reassure you, this is a pretty nice pirate shirt.Most important, other than that this is a PIRATE SHIRT, is that this is a flattering and comfy pirate shirt. The fabric is distinctly synthetic, and does NOT have much stretch, but what it does do is drape nicely, and it's dialed in weight-wise to the cut. Which is flattering and on the forgiving side—I got a size M and it's on the loose side, not in a bad way, but if you want a tight fit, you might consider sizing down.All the stitching meets spec, on arrival there were no loose thread, extraneous ends, etc., but it's worth saying, this is more costume than heirloom piece. I have no qualms about relying on it for a night of pillaging and looting, but, will take care washing and drying it, and don't expect it to last forever.This is no criticism, but I found the wrists feel a tad unusual at first—there is elastic that rides a good few inches up the forearm. But the actual poofy cuffs are correctly sized and shaped to not leave you with too much arm exposed. It just feels different from most contemporary long-sleeve shirts.I got this in "beige" which is actually an off white. IMO this is the right white for this shirt, a crisp blued white would feel a bit out of place on the poop deck.I'm really happy I got this. Haarrrrrrrrr!

I was surprised to find this shirt well made. Often costume clothing is cheaply made because it is only designed for occasional wear. This one was well cut and sewn. The material itself drapes well and is light, but not so light as a cotton shirt would have been. It is cut very roomy to be baggy and I was happy to find the sleeves were long enough for my 6'2" frame. They only complaint I have is that the elstic in the wrists is a bit tight but I expect that it will loosen up with some wear, or a person could just stretch it themselves. The shirt looks neat and could fit a number of themes, pirate, colonial, victorian, etc. Rather versitile.

I got this shirt in a size M and in the color “Black” for my 6’0, 155-pound husband. The medium fits more like a large, but tucked in like in the product photos, it blouses nicely. Since I sometimes borrow my husband’s fancier clothes, the excessive largeness makes me sad, as it just won’t work on my thin, petite frame. I’m not sure why a size S is not offered, as that probably would have fit both of us better.The fabric is a bit unusual and may not be very comfortable here in Florida’s heat and humidity, but it feels like it’s a pretty good quality regardless. The stitching is a little messy in a few places, but I don’t see any loose threads. This has no stretch except at the wrist cuffs.I love the double layer of wrist ruffles, which was the main draw of this shirt. The lace-up front is also a handsome feature. Overall, the style of this shirt looks quite dashing on my husband. It works nicely for various, casual, period cosplays, and I think it’s also a nice option as a regular shirt for eccentrics and goths like us. For the price, this is a solid shirt that I generally recommend.

The polyester and elastic fabric in this shirt make is feel a little like a loose rash guard to me. I like the feel of it and I hope that it will dissipate sweat and not stain as easily as cotton might. I intend to wear it to the ren faires in our area, so the appearance is important to me as well as the comfort.I am very happy with the fit and look of this shirt. The long sleeves and ruffles add a little flair so it can go with various themed cosplay looks. The stitching and seams were all in good order with no noticeable flaws in the craftsmanship. I would consider this a high-quality costume piece.

I was really taken back by the heavy smoke smell opening this package. It smells like it spent some serious time in a smoke shop. I'm going to try to wash and air it out, but I'm mentioning it because the smell was that strong opening the package and trying on the shirt. (In fact I took it off before taking a photo because I could not take it.)I love the shirt! I don't know what material it is made of, but it feels like some kind of nylon/rayon type product, and has that look to it. It does not stretch at all like a spandex might. The weight of the fabric is good; often products like this tend to feel "cheap" and thin and this feels like there will be the opportunity to wear it often. It has great double-sewn ruffles in the sleeves and a string tie to bring the chest together.
