Installed this 2/2/2025 on Akorn grill/smoker ive had for 6 years It gets a lot of use the bottom seal had started to leak. I added this seal I have used the grill twice now no and i mean no smoke comes out other than the chimney

Tried to install this on my grill and after preparing the surface and peeling back the paper, the adhesive doesn't stick at all. Don't buy this product, it's worthless.

I needed to replace the gasket on my grill as it has been through many grilling sessions. This product was easy to use and has a good seal. Plus I had left over material for whenever I need to replace it again.

Used the kit on a 4 year old Kamado Joe Jr. we use weekly/more often year around in Michigan. From Summer heat to Winter snow season. Bottom gasket had failed entirely and was peeling off. Top was still hanging in there, and the gasket around the chimney vent mostly gone. Plenty of material to do all three seals. A 45 minute job to scrape off the remnant gaskets, degrease, sand to bare porcelain, and replace.Seals are easy to apply, stick well, and we'll report later about longevity. At $25, this kit is nearly 7% the cost of an entirely new Joe Jr.The Joe Jr. is an AWESOME grill for fish, chicken, steaks, but requires a few options to really perform optimally. First is a grilling wok that fits the interior dimensions. CUISINART 11" cast iron wok fits perfectly, and is the VERY BEST tool for stir fry, searing steaks, and even frying fish outdoors to save the stink and cleanup hassle indoors with minimum oil waste.Second is the stainless charcoal basket. This allows you to recycle unconsumed charcoal efficiently, and get a really hot fir if needed. The dirty secret of the ash plate on Kamado grills is it's easily blinded by charcoal fines, reducing cook temperature potential dramatically. The charcoal basket solves this problem simply and effectively.You sure don't need a larger grill than the Joe Jr. for 3-4 people, heats up quickly after work, and with suggested charcoal basket, is extremely fuel efficient.

This is a fireproof type gasket for kamado grills & works well but its considerably thinner than the Vision grill replacement. I returned for the vision type. Cost difference insignificant.

I ordered this for my husband's Kamadojoe Saffire grill. He has had this grill for over 2 years and cooks on it at least 3 times a week. We have never replaced the original gasket till now. My husband found this on Amazon and asked me to order after looking at several other's. Unlike what other reviewers said, it went on very easily without the need for any cuts needing to be put into it. It holds in the heat very well and does the job.Pro: Cost per effectiveness, ease of buying on Amazon.com, Easy to apply, holds in heat, extra material for another use.Con: None at this time. If there are after several uses I will update this review.(From the photos you can see my husband has already been using this product)

Goes on easy, seals great and no issues with it coming loose. I removed the old worn gasket with a 5 in1 scraper and put the new Nomex gasket right on. Left the lid closed for 24hrs as recommended. Great fit and seal. I've done 5 cooks that range in temp from 225 to 400 and in duration from 2hrs to 18hrs. No leaking around the gasket. I have a Grill Dome and due to the thickness of this gasket I did have to make a minor adjustment to the lid hinge to get a full seal but this took only a couple minutes to do. Will definitely buy again.
