A good idea if you want to put a higher RPM governor spring in your Cummins and not float the valves. Do note that you need to order two sets to get a full set. There are only 6 per package. I didn't catch that and had to order a second set.Originally spec'ed for the exhaust only to prevent valve float when using an exhaust brake, you can use two sets to increase the rpm range of your engine. It's a good idea if you are putting in a 3200 RPM spring and essential if you are going to run a 3800 RPM or higher spring.
