Bought this for my 2004 Avalanche with dual zone climate control. Blower motor stopped working and this part did the trick. Unfortunately, it only lasted 2 years before it failed causing a different problem. This time the blower motor would stay running even if the engine was off and the key was out. The truck is a spare vehicle and only gets driven about 5000 miles per year.

Bought this in January to fix an issue where the blower would not shut off, and now five months later, the blower does not turn on. Tested the module/resistor itself and there isn't any continuity going through it in either direction. Safe to say its crap.

My old fan module shorted out and stayed on even with the car off. I went to my local parts stores, they didn’t have any in stock and they would take a few days to come in, also a bit pricey. I saw this one on Amazon and it was a perfect match for my 2004 GMC Envoy. Been working every since.

Took the shield off.took out the 2 screws,unpluged the old part from the car and the blower.plugged the new part input it all back together and it worked.It has been a couple weeks and it is still working.

For some reason, the local auto parts store had this same part for $400. We bought this instead and had no problems with it. It fixed the issue with our heat and for our 2005 GMC Yukon XL.
