If you put up an above ground pool. This is essential! When it's time to put a nee liner in, you won't have to dismantle the sides. All you do is take the old out and drop a new one in this piece.

Did what it is supposed to do. Installation of the receiver onto the pool wall, EASY. Installation of the pool liner into the bead receiver, not so easy. If you have arteritis or even weak hands, DO NOT attempt this. I was able to make it a little easier by filling a spray bottle with plain water and spraying the receiver and liner as I went. Be sure and watch some youtube videos before attempting this. One of the best one's I found was from Linerworld.com

You will need to plan out some time in putting this in. It takes patience. I recommend start where the metal panels join together. I did not. I had to cut a notch to go over this area. I am hoping that it will not interfere with the use of the liner. Use a rubber mallet to tap in place and to secure closer to each strip.
