I use these pins to pin Wrist weights to my patio curtains to keep them from Flying upward on windy days. They're heavy enough to keep closed when pulling against the wind.

These are a bit more than I needed. I just wanted a pin to help with my zipper on my winter jacket as my hands are rather arthritic now. It was more pin than I needed. However, I've kept them as I feel I will find some use for them. Would recommend if you are looking for a heavy silver head pin.

These are great for work key rings or those that lose their keys frequently. Just pin it to your tool belt, work apron, purse etc. They are sturdy enough to hold small tools if needed.

These were perfect! I got them for a friend who was looking for something a little different to use as a jacket closure. She loved them! The size is accurate, the thickness is great for a heavy coat, and the needle part on the end is just right. Sharp enough to go through fabric, but not so sharp that you prick your finger and draw blood. It’s just right.

I was given a "king-size" blanket that was too big for our king-size bed. It was a gift. I got an idea, I love sleeping under a fairly "weighty" blanket or quilt. We folded the giant blanket in half for my queen-size bed. It was just right. But the edges would always separate, making me REALLY have to re-make the bed every morning.I ordered these - I had diaper pins in mind. They would have been TOO SMALL, and not sturdy enough. These 4" "safety-type" pins were just perfect. the blanket stays folded in half. I toss and turn, but my blanket stays put. I can't say they're attractive - they are the definition of utilitarian.I'm VERY happy with these pins, and are keeping some for emergencies.

The pins were sturdy but not sharp. I had expected to use them as large safety pins to hold fabric in place. But I couldn't even pierce the fabric with them.
