Coffee is good and it fits in my Keurig machine with no problem. Part of the reason I am buying this type of coffee pod is to avoid adding so much waste to landfills. I would’ve given it five stars except for the individually packed coffee pods make zero sense to me. It’s unnecessary and wasteful, regardless of it being biodegradable. The packaging —also takes up more space.

Bought these coffee pods because I didn’t want to use plastic pods. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this coffee tasted. I will be purchasing more.

UPDATED REVIEW: Well, I made my second cup of coffee and this time it came out smelling and looking like a great cup of coffee. I brewed it differently this time. Even though it technically is a coffee pod and I still used the coffee pods adapter, I used my coffee brew button that said it was ground coffee to trick my coffee pot into brewing the lid differently. (don’t ask me how the coffee pot is smart enough to know the difference…hahaha!). Anyhoo, this coffee tastes GREAT! Medium Roast, and smooth taste. I love it and I will be purchasing more. Oh, and I had NO problems with the coffee pod opening when brewing.FIRST REVIEW: I received this medium roast coffee today, 3/4/2025, and I was so excited to try it that I made a cup of coffee right away. After the brewing process the coffee brewed very weak. It almost looked like a cup of tea, as I could see through the coffee to the bottom of my white mug. I was SO disappointed. I added 1/2 & 1/2 cream, as I usually do for my coffee and it was so light it actually looked like I just made hot water and cream. So I poured it out and made a different cup of coffee. I am going to make another cup of coffee now, and I will give this “beaniac, beam me up” coffee pod a second chance. I will be back with an update.

I like to use these pods only on weekend mornings. Other days I use a reusable pod I grind coffee for and fill up.But if and when you are not up for that this is a very good coffee. It lowers thr impact and avoids all plastic.I do wish it was easier to separate thr top. I countertop compost and I just don't want thr ink in my compost. So I hand cut the top off and that (will compost in a landfill) and I counterpoint compost thr grinds and babasket-filter.Back on the coffee I'm pleased with it. Thr price is okay. Not a great deal nor overpriced. Just middle of the road.

I've been looking for the right decafe for afternoon cup a coffee. I recently learned that Swiss water method was safer with no chemical aftertaste. I like everything about this coffee. Organic Swiss water and quality all the way. The pods are compostable with no plastic. I wish I had found this brand a long time ago . I have been buying this coffee as fast as I can because of future tariffs on Canada. I have no reason to buy any other decafe coffee i feel good drinking this coffee

I purchased one box of the Beaniac decaf and it was amazing. My next order was four boxes of it, replacing my Carribou decaf. I opened the first bag and the coffee tasted stale. The second bag and the taste was back to amazing. Today opened a new bag and the coffee again taste stale. Bottom line, when Beaniac decaf is good, it's very good. But there is a consistency problem. I am going back to Carribou. They are very consistent from pod to pod.

Impressed. These pods brew a stronger, richer coffee than the brand name version. I have tried it in a few different machines and have had no issues with the pods coming apart as stated in some reviews (although none was the new Keurig with 5 inserts). Almost all the brand name pods I've used made weaker coffee, so I feel these are a good value even though they cost about the same as the big brands. It is a medium roast; but to me, it leans toward dark roast: so it would probably appeal to those who like the stronger/burnt drive through flavor. I wish they offered the decaf in a light roast.
