The items I received both have weak springs, with not enough force to ignite the primers. My primers are fresh and I have tested them by other methods and they work fine. I will have to buy new, stronger springs and make them work, but I’m not happy with the product as purchased.

These failed to go off 100% of the time. The trip wire would pull the pin, and the firing pin stops itself on the inside due to the poor tolerances of this product. Very disappointed. Do not waste your money.

I have had other ones were the 209 primers didn't fit (is an easy fix) but these work perfectly out of the box

Purchased a set of two. Both are missing the keyring and niether work.Took the same 22 and put it in a 40+yr old rusted trip alarm went off perfectly. I'm sure returning this iteam will cost more than keeping the junk product. Be warned

I already wrote a very long review explaining how I use similar devices to scare nosey bears away from our little cabin in the woods but Amazon didn't like the review I wrote as it violated their community guidelines. Now they never tell you just exactly what they don't like so here we go again with another more abbreviated review.I got these two trip alarms. Both of them together cost about the same as an identical unit cost me from Fithops. The one from them works great. No comment on how these work. That is all.
