Ive used other grips by far the best I’ve used, I love them. They’re thick enough to protect your hands and grip the bar so well with a little chalk I attend CrossFit classes regularly, usually 4 to 5 times per week, and these are essential for my workouts. I've had them for alittle bit now and they still fit perfectly and have molded comfortably over time. I use them not only for rig work but also whenever I need better grip during barbell exercises, making them a staple in my routine. Despite frequent use, they show no signs of significant wear

Works well enough when chalk is applied. Otherwise feels a bit slippery. I’m not a big holes version fan and prefer the version without holes. The benefit of the holes version is that you can partially feel the bar with your fingers. The fit is good. The white color gets dirty quickly. The Velcro is secure. Overall good product.

As an active Crossfitter I am very familiar with the Bear Komplex brand. My 3 hole Carbons finally gave out right before the Memorial Day MURPH so I was eager and excited to try out the new Pinnacles. As expected, the grips are well made, and they protect my palms. The new white material is handsome and hides chalk, but it is also considerably thicker. While doing muscle ups I found the thick material inhibited the tactile feeling of my positioning awareness of the bar in my palm. I guess that is the trade off to avoid torn bloody hands. As with many new grips, the material was slick out of the box and requiring a little abrasion with sandpaper to ensure a solid grip. The die cut finger holes were tight but the material does stretch and now fit perfectly. The one disappointment I have is in the new hardware on the Velcro closure. As shown in the photos Bear Komplex is using a much larger square ring. While the material is more robust the opening is much too large to allow capture the wrist closure strap. Not only does this make it more challenging to thread through, but the large opening allows the strap easily to slip out during the transition time during wods. I am NOT saying they come off in use but many xfitters (me included) like to loosen the wrist to rotate the grips backwards around while moving between exercises. Because the rings are SO open I found that the strap quickly slips out and I lose time having to re-thread the strap. Again these are very secure on the wrists when in place for their intended use.In conclusion, the Bear Komplex Pinnacle grips maintain the brand's reputation for durability and protection, making them a reliable choice for Crossfit enthusiasts. The new white material not only looks sleek and hides chalk well but also offers robust hand protection, albeit at the expense of some tactile feedback. The redesigned Velcro closure, with its larger square ring, presents a notable drawback, especially for those who prefer to quickly adjust their grips during workouts. Despite this, the grips perform exceptionally well when securely fastened, ensuring that your hands remain safe and supported throughout workouts. While there are a few trade-offs, the Pinnacles are still a solid investment for anyone looking to enhance their Crossfit performance.

If you are new to Crossfit or if you've been doing it for years, it doesn't matter. No one is immune to rips when you are working on the rig for higher volume movements like toes to bar and kipping pull ups, muscle ups etc... the only difference is you may be able to tolerate more volume over time, but your hands are likely to tear whenever you are pushing the limits. These grips help you to find those limits safely and not be limited by your callouses... just your fitness.I like to use the 3 hole version for pull ups and a flat panel with no finger holes for more dynamic movements like Toes to Bar and muscle up work. It's a matter of personal preference, and to each their own, but one thing I will say with confidence is that it is hard to find a brand name that more consistently creates comfortable and DURABLE grips than Bear Komplex. If you haven't used them before, this is a great place to start. If you have used grips and are looking to replace them... you probably didn't buy Bear Komplex the first time. If you DID and you are looking to replace them... you already know that they last a long time, so buy with confidence :)
