This design is attractive but not for the novice candle maker. It is hard to demold without loss of detail. I think this has to do more with my lack of experience than the mold, hence the novice claim.Otherwise, it is a very pretty design and the candle makes a great gift when finished.

This is a great lotus mold set! I use molds daily for making candles and I have not had issues with the silicone. The molds are made from durable and flexible white silicone. They have a base built into the mold and when filled they are sturdy. They are also easy to use. It does take some understanding of how to use them properly. They are fairly small but produce great little votives. They set quickly and de-mold without breaking. Overall, I’m happy with the quality and would recommend this set to anyone looking for reliable molds for candles, soap, chocolate, or resin.

Beautiful mold if you can get the wings to stay without breaking. I have tried everything. Nothing works for me.

So the mold is very soft which is great but also means you have to be carefull, you have to play a bit to get the temp just right and cooling perfect to get the best details but wow once it is dialed in it is amazing!
