These spoon blanks are only about .5 inches in thickness, not the .7 inches as stated in description.

I was looking to trying out apricot but unfortunately this was not included in the provided blanks, even though it is clearly stated in the description of the product.

I don’t know what I was thinking when I bought this, but the spoons are literally the size of a utensil spoon. Not a large mixing spoon like I had thought.

I bought these as a gift for someone who is new to woodcarving. These spoon blanks will give him a chance to work with some different woods on a small scale to see what he likes. He mentioned that he wants to learn to carve spoons. These look like nice wood. They're a bit rough around the edges, but they will be carved soon. I cannot really tell beyond that.

I find that the wood is fine, however, I was expecting a larger blank.

Based on the pictures I thought these were longer than they are. They are tablespoon size. I will know better next time. Almost all of my knives and hand chisels are Beavercraft so I wholeheartedly support their brand and I like being able to support Ukraine as well.

These spoon blanks appear nice and I will likely whittle them but they are not quite as long as my hand
