Quality control for the gasket is lacking . Without accurate fit system will leak . This product should be withdrawn by Amazon. Better buy a different brand and It's wise to read reviews and take them seriously.

The thermostat fits but opens at lower temp than OEM does. My '05 Civic didn't like that, apparently. Also, it came with the required gasket.
