Installed on a 2013 Dodge Charger with the 5.7 Hemi. Temperature gauge would not work. On further inspection with a scan tool, it did work, but it was way off. Started at 60F, maxed out at about 105F. Caused cooling fans to not work and thus engine overheating. After a while it wouldn't even start anymore. Just cranked like it needed a fuel pump. Replaced with Autozone brand and corrected all problems. Buyer beware, maybe ours was a dud, but proceed with caution

The description stated the part would fit my car but made no mention there were two types . Take the part out before ordering to make sure you are ordering the correct one. The sensor shaft is either thin or thick.

This part didn't fit. ***UPDATE***-- I now realize this sensor is the one that mounts in the Oil filter housing/oil cooler body on the top of the engine. I needed the MOPAR Part No.: 68164627AASENSOR-FLUID TEMPERATURE, which you access through the left front wheel well on a 2016 Wrangler. I only gave one star, but it was probably because the description should be clearer.
