Bought this same unit 4 years ago to fix my cooling fans in my 2003 Mazda MPV from running full blast continuously, even when ignition was off. Figured 4 years isn't bad for the cheap parts made nowadays so I bought it again for the same problem 3 months ago and now my fans started cycling on and off every 5 seconds and my A/C compressor would start short cycling so I thought I was low on freon. Checked Low and High side pressure readings and they were good, looked online trying to find an answer with no luck. Bought a cheap version of this product from YCT for $20.00 just to see if it would fix the problem, which it did, so now I will be buying a different brand other than this one from now on.

Pretty easy to install and fixed the several fan issues I was having. I watched some videos on replacing in my MPV. Though you will have to program the time and stations back into the radio I say take out the battery. I tried to do like the vids and not take it out. After a little fussing I just removed the battery and then it got much easier. Hope it holds up, but 2 weeks in, it is working like it should.

I bought one of these from different seller at amazon and it only takes 2 days and it broke. I got one at ebay and the same thing and my mpv overgeated! Then I got this one BECKARNLY and easy to install and it works right away. It’s almost a month and so far so good!

I am so glad I chose this brand and so far it's holding up. Installation was easy and the problem I had with the cooling control module is gone. I also noticed a considerable change on my gas consumption for the better. I highly recommend this product and try to avoid buying cheaper product it's not worth it in the long run.

WORKS AMAZING!!!! Better than the factory installed module!! I originally bought a $40 control fan module replacement that was the same as OEM but it burnt out in less than 2 days and left me stranded and driving with my the temp. gauge on H so I decided that I should bite the bullet and see if this is really what it's hyped up to be. And let me tell you that this is worth every extra penny over any cheaper modules you might see; it is also worth the savings over any more expensive ones. Choose this module to be a life saver and keep your engine running cool. Works perfectly and the fan does not come on longer then it ever needs to. I reccomend you buy Beck-Arnley parts for all your future car repairs--they have great stuff.

Installed as a replacement for the factory unit, as well as a failed controller bought off ebay (there was a recall on the launch design of the controller, and I apparently bought the BAD old design).Installation was a breeze, OEM fan cables fit perfectly. Fan controller seems to work great so far after 2 days of use.

I finally got my intermittent overheating issue resolved with this little bugger. I replaced the entire cooling system on my wife's MPV a while back including the water pump, radiator, thermostat, hoses, AND the cheapest fan control module on here.My wife's overheating issues became noticeably better after all the work, but it would still intermittently overheat. The weird thing is the fans were running, so I ruled the fans and their respective circuits out. But what I eventually realized was that the fan speed didn't seem right. At idle on a hot day, the fans would be spinning, but at a relatively low speed. Then on other occasions If the car was dead cold after sitting all night and the key was turned to acc (without cranking/starting the engine) the fans would be spinning. Not only that, they would spin MUCH faster than during the idle-on-a-hot-day scenario.So I bit the bullet and got this one. I noticed a difference right away. Now fan speeds are proportional to engine temps!Unfortunately the first time around I cheaped out and got the unit that was a dud right out of the box. It may have been 30+ dollars cheaper, but it ended up being just an expensive paper weight. Like others have learned on here and on forums, this is not a part to cheap out on. GET THIS ONE!

As of right now the product was plug and play. Very easy to change out. Also let me be the one to tell you don't wait any longer like I did on buying this piece. If you fans are running full time like mine was. They are destroying you battery and your fans, and let's not forget the power and gas mileage you will get back when your fans are not running 24/7 like mine was. Best choice I've made in a long time. Car isnt as loud as before the fix also. So stop looking around for something cheaper and just buy this piece. Decent company with affordable replace replacement parts. My car is a 2008 Mazda 6s 3.0 automatic Trans if that helps anyone out.
