This was an absolute nightmare to replace, but that’s Volkswagen’s fault, lol. The part itself is high quality and fits just like OEM.

The part that arrived did not look like the listing photos, the inlet barb is a seperate piece which makes it thicker and the boss it threads into causes fitment issues with te firewall. One might be able to openup the firewall hope, but the step part is also much thicker than the original which will cause issues with the reienforcement plate.Another note upon arrival the plastic clip had grease with dirt, and the hex part of the inlet barb had been ground down. Appears someone else also had issues and sent the part back.On the bright side the part looks to be cast very well in aluminum and the box sticker says made in Italy

Amazon.com's website claimed that this part would fit my 2004 VW Jetta 1.8T 5-speed and it didn't, at least not without modifying my firewall. My mechanic had to enlarge the hole in my firewall about 1/8" for it to fit properly which increased my labor bill another $105. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 in hopes that the part itself will actually turn out to be reliable despite the fit problem.

I was very disappointed to find that the Beck Arnley 072-9321 clutch master cylinder does not fit a 2001 Audi TT. I disassembled the system and was prepared to install this part, only to find that the cast metal input tube base is too big for the hole in the firewall into which it must be placed. Amazon claimed "This part fits your 2001 Audi TT Quattro" but sadly it does not. Now I will be out my vehicle for a few more days while I order another, from another source.

it does the job, but It is not an exact fit. required me to replace the clutch stop with a bolt in order to use it, but I didn't have time to return it to order a different brand.
