It fit in a 2003 Subaru Outback perfectly fine after the old was managed to be removed. You can't blame the part for Subaru making it hard to get to. . . .

This unit is not identically in size to the factory unit and did not fit the hose properly. Since I had already removed the old one by the time I figured it out, I just went to the local Subaru dealer and got the OEM part.

So after a month of this installed, I feel I can wright a good review. I installed this in my 2008 2.5 Subaru Legacy. All you will need to do is unplug two of the spark plug wires from the ignition coil (not hard at all). Then with a 19mm or 3/4" DEEP socket, with a 6" or more extender you will be able to remove it. Just to let you know, it is very tight and I had to use a breaker bar to remove it. The reviews are true that say the new one has a slightly smaller inlet so the tube will fit a little loose, but all i had to do was push it on harder and it fit fine after that. Took 20 mins. Can't say how well this is working with only it installed because I also installed new NGK spark plugs and wires along with it. I am getting about 2-2.5 MPG better now with everything installed. And a much better throttle response.

It works fine on my 2010 subaru impreza...now my car stopped burning oil. The only problem is that nipple is slightly smaller so the hose doesn't fit on it tightly...but thats a ease fix

Works on my 2002 outback. Won't fit my daughter's 96 outback. Check yours carefully. I believe post 2000 subas U.S. This one, and pre 2000 subas use a different model, with a larger barbed end.

Fits perfect, well made product, notice a difference right away for my 2.5 ej25 SOHC engine, I believe my car still had the original PCV, now the car gets up to 6k rpm a lot faster. Will buy from again
