Your cart is empty.The Beckson screw-out deck plate was designed to provide access without the use of tools, with a single start, non-jamming (no cross-thread), extra strong, self-cleaning buttress thread. A self-aligning center and an innovative gasket assure a watertight seal. A unique back-up sealing wall leaves the plate water resistant, even if the gasket is removed. A screw-out plate should be used in compartments where a change in air pressure due to temperature or oil canning can occur. Deck plates are used for access, inspection, and clean out for compartments and tanks, or just as General access for shut-off valves or back fastenings. Clear center plates permit visual inspection and observation of controls or gauges without removal of the plate.

Needed this deck plate to replace a missing one on our boat. Easiest was to get a replacement is to order the exact same item. Measured twice inside and out as well as screw holes. Comes with gasket and the project of replacement went as well. I will say the price on these is quite expensive. Still highly recommend as it saves time and looks original.

I've used a lot of plastic hatches. Beckson is the only brand that I've found to be any good. Other brands I've had the threads not work right and had them crack just by a little force of a screw securing the flange, and also crack over time in the boat.These are watertight, a good alternative to where you want a hatch for access, do not want to pay $300 for a metal version of the same, and the area you are sealing is not high traffic or prone to equipment (ie anchors) getting dropped on it.

They don't leak, fit the old holes. Purchased as a replacement and the holes lined up.
