My mom has Parkinson's and leans to one side, so I'm always looking for something to help keep her upright in a chair. We've been spending a lot of time outside on the patio, and I have sling chairs with metal arms, and anything I put beside her would slip out and end up on the ground. This works great, although not its intended propose. I think it would work well on a bed rail as well, although an extra tie in the middle would be useful: I used a zip tie on the chair, but that wouldn't look as nice on a bed.

Very plush, very thick, very soft and very sturdy. Such a great item, our 18 month old as we transitioned him to sleep in a big boy bed he would get up in the middle of the night and just ends up doing a fall sleep kind of throw without thinking and would hit his head on the arms of his bed and this has been such a great item as it's quit large in thickness, length and width. It provides a great pad for any kind of middle of the night baby movements. Worth the price it offers . Super easy to assemble and has string to tie it to where you would like to place it very well design and stays in place.

This bumper pad is working great for the rail on a hospital bed. For this bed rail it's the perfect size, but it would work for longer rails as well. It definitely creates a nice protective barrier between the knees and the rail, and It's got the right amount of density to be soft yet firm. It is secured to the rail via tie strings/cords, and the covering has a zipper and can be taken off and washed. I like it, and it's working well for it's intended purpose.

This bumper guard is BY FAR, the most effective bed bumper I've seen! This unit can easily be placed over a metal bed rail, or over a 1x4 piece of wood, to create a soft and effective barrier. This unit not only works for babies, but can also be used as a soft bumper for the elderly, or for an older family pet. In our home, we have one person with a neuromuscular disease, and an elderly dog (age 18-a bichon) who has been falling off his dog ramp. So, for our dog, we placed the ramp against the wall, and attached a 1x4 board to the other side of the ramp, and slipped this bumper over the board. It works like a DREAM, and he no longer falls off the ramp. Instead, the bumper provides a soft cushion if he loses his footing or starts to list to the right side. I will not hesitate to purchase more of these bumpers as our needs continue to grow. The fabric is VERY SOFT to the touch, and there is ABSOLUTELY NO CHEMICAL SMELL to the fabric or the bumper. The stitching and production of this piece is professional, all the way around. For the price and the design and the features of this product, these bumpers are WELL worth the money!
