This canopy is honestly amazing. You can't see through it from the outside unless there's a light inside of it, but you can see through the material if you're within it fairly well. It's a very consistent black color and it's an amazing size. It seems pretty sturdy material wise, but it's still pretty soft so it's not a pain to have against you. My only complaint, which did wind up being very disappointing for me, is that when I attempted to remove the ring to wash the canopy I found it as what appeared to be one continuous ring without an open spot to pull it out despite their being a small slit in the top of the canopy itself where the ring was inserted in the first place. The canopy did not come with any kind of instruction manual and there's no tags or anything that indicate how to wash it, so I put it in the washing machine by itself on a delicate cycle and unfortunately I guess there was a loosely used section of it because it snapped and I had to remove the ring because the metal had gotten jagged and stabbed through the canopy.

We got this for our 4 month old to be able to have a dark little area to sleep while the light or TV is on. It covers the crib well and is breathable so I’m not worried about his suffocating. His Owlet also helps with that, but I have out him in without the sock and he’s still been fine. Super easy to install, come with hardware, but we just used the 3M square and it’s working great.

My 3 year old wanted a tent around her bed so we gave this one a shot. It’s pretty long but it worked out well and was able to fully wrap around the sides of her toddler bed. She has a convertible crib so the headboard is pretty high (about 4FT). We attempted to only use the adhesive and not screws and it fell within an hour. Unfortunately, since we rent we can’t really mount into the ceiling. But overall the material of this are top quality, very thick and easy to clean. No strange smells doesn’t wrinkle so it looks nice.

Price: $35.99This canopy is well made and of good quality of fabric. The material is lightweight but dense enough that it can feel like black out curtains. I did not install this with the installation kit but with an eye hook. This is fun for a bed or special play area.

My daughter loved it I redesigned her room now and she had been wanting a canopy for a while and it looks amazing. The fabric is not too thick but not see through. Very well made canopy large enough to cover a decent area of the bed.

I love this little canopy and it was really easy to install and looks great above my bed. I opted for drilling it into the ceiling instead of using adhesive to provide more stability and it looks great.

ITEM: Bed Canopy (Black)PROS:- I was really relieved that it didn’t have the white stitching on the seams that appears to be in the image - mine was finished with black thread.- It’s actually big enough for a twin bed! (I haven’t used it with anything larger). It seems like all canopies like this are either extremely expensive or designed for cribs - I was really pleased that this one is larger and fit over and has excess length.- The fabric is actually opaque! Another struggle I had was trying to find one that had substantial, opaque fabric - really pleased with this one as it actually blocks out light.NEUTRALS:- The fabric does look a bit wrinkled/cheap if not steamed; but granted, I had a linen-like drape fabric in the past that I’m mentally comparing it to, so little lives up to that.CONS:- None.WOULD I PURCHASE? (Any prices noted are as of the time of writing): Yes, for the size and finding an actually opaque fabric, this is a steal at the list price of $35.99, but especially so at the current asking price of $26.99. There’s better out there, but not at this price point.My rating system is: 5 = no/minimal complaints, very pleased 4 = minor complaints, overall satisfied, but could be better 3 = notable complaints, overall average to ‘meh’ 2 = significant complaints, unhappy and will not keep/use 1 = entirely complaints, misleading descriptions, straight to the trash product.
