It is great as a supplemental light for side light addition. Tall enough for many larger size houseplants. Not super bright. Just an addition not a main light. Also would work as a corner accent light if aimed at the corner to have light bounce off wall. For me, it is an extra grow light for the side of a larger plant that loves light.

Great! My orchids love it and the fact it can hang or stand is wonderful. 10/10

This light is pretty neat! It’s super bright, has an industrial aesthetic, and a high quality feel to it. The timer on it is accurate. Overall I’m really happy. I wish it came in white!

i like it except the darn thing keeps turning on in the middle of the night and wakes me up. The instructions on the remote are not good and I have been playing with the settings for over a week and have not figured what the "C" on the remote is for. I am very electronically smart and this one has me stumped. If the instructions were better and the light stopped waking me up I would give it a better rating.

Got this grow light fie our bedroom (turns on during the day) on side of wall that doesn’t get enough light during fall/winter. It works great. All our plants are happy. Love the timer. We set it and forget it. It’s also very aesthetically pleasing- unlike some other grow lights in the market. Very cute. Love having a remote with it.

The product page states this is a 48W grow lamp, but looking at the power plug it's quickly made clear that only 24V 1A DC is outputted into the lamp. It's bright, but it's not even drawing 24W of power into the lamp, let alone converting all of it to light. If you're buying this for a plant that needs that much power, well buyer beware.I do appreciate the additional mounting options the clips provide. As I'm eventually planning on moving this to a custom hydroponics setup, the ability to mount the lamps to the walls or ceiling will be useful.

I've been on the hunt for some bar style, vertical grow lights for my home with more of a warm white tone to help phase out any I have with a cooler, more blue light temperature, and this caught my eye. It arrived neatly packaged, and broken down into 3 pieces, along with the base, AC cord/remote, a wireless IR remote, batteries, two metal C-shaped clip-on brackets wrapped in silicone, zip ties, screws, nuts, teeny bracket screwdriver, and the manual.Assembly was pretty simple, and pretty self explanatory, as I have changing color vertical lights that are similar to this. The 3 pieces snapped together easily and are locked in via a little stopper to hold them in place. These can easily be pushed in to be broken down if necessary. As far as the base goes, it's a beast! Nice, wide, and heavier than it probably needs to be, but greatly appreciated. The bar easily screwed into the base with ease and I had it plugged into it's new home, in seconds. The remote attached to the AC cable is pretty standard with grow lights, where you can easily increase and decrease brightness, as well as set the time of 4, 8, or 12 hours. If I don't set the timer, it's definitely handy to have the remote at bay, so I can turn it off easily on the other side of the room. As far as the color temperature goes, it has just the right amount of warmth I was looking for. Unfortunately, it doesn't get as bright as I, or my tree would prefer. Thankfully I have a mirror right next to it, where I can easily bounce the light and help spread it around instead of blinding others as they walk into my home. As I sidenote, I'd like to mention that one significant difference I noticed right away with this light, is that it fades on, and fades off, rather than an abrupt flash of light, or darkness. It's not so jarring on the eyes and helps them adjust nicely. If you didn't want to use the base at all, this is super flexible and can easily be attached to a wall vertically, or horizontally with the C-Clips included, but there would be no flexibility to adjust the angle 180 degrees, as it's designed to have the back be flush along the wall. Plus, the cable is attached to the bottom bar and doesn't really allow for any type of rotation, but that's nothing a cable cover can't fix! I suppose you could also hang this horizontally, but you would have to rig up your own solution for that, which shouldn't be difficult one bit!Power-wise, I'm not too crazy about it, as the box notes an "F" rating, at 36kWh, per 1000h, so I will have to keep an eye on that with our home monitor and may just stick to 8 hours if it pushes our monthly expenses a bit. Thankfully it's summer and we get quite a bit of natural light! Given the low profile of this and flexibility, I may be back for at least one more!
