This clock sounds wonderful when it chimes. Its sound is full and rich. However I would have liked the finish to be a bit darker than the light cherry that it is. It is a cherry stain over oak wood so the case looks a bit grainy. But for the price is it an excellent clock. Now I just have to get the extended warranty fro free as promised. Registering the product in order to trigger the warranty is not going smoothly. May have to phone the company.

was exactly what i expected from the description and website. chimes are soft and not distracting. i am on zoom calls for work and am in the same room as the clock. It's nice that it has the feature that after 9pm until 6am that the chimes don't ring.

This is the second clock we’ve ordered, the first one was from Home Depot, which we returned. The problem is not with this company or Home Depot. It’s this particular clock. You can’t get the chimes to ring correctly. I went “exactly” by “their” instructions. I even went as far as waiting until 10 am to set the darn thing & the chimes are still wrong. The first one we purchased, I even called Bedford to see what I might be doing wrong. The customer service rep told me to push the “reset” button.....THERE ISN'T A RESET BUTTON. She told me to return it because it must be faulty, DUH!!! Guess we’ll return this one to & buy a different brand. Don’t waste your money on a Bedford clock!!!

Bought as a gift for the in-laws. For their mantle piece.They love it and the chimes it makes .Looks to be much better quality than the price suggests.Great deal and they are very pleased with it.
