As others mentioned, the scope is about what you'd expect at this price point, so if you are going to do more than plinking an upgrade is in order. The trigger started off bad, with a very long pull that always resulted in a surprise when it released. It's easy to adjust. Search "Beeman Grizzly X2 Trigger Fix" on Youtube.

I received the correct item, but was surprised by the velocity claims on the box. On the box, it says 1000 fps in .177 caliber, and 800 in .22 caliber. The Amazon description does not address this at all, so I looked on the Beeman site before ordering, which states 1200 fps in .177 and 950 in .22 caliber. I'll probably still keep it, but just so anyone else knows- according to the box, this is not the same power class as the Gamo Magnum. It's still no slouch, though. I sent a message to the folks at Beeman, but who knows if I will get a straight answer out of them or not; one never knows. I was hoping to use some 25 grain slugs in it; but they may not perform well after all. I may shoot it over a chronograph and learn the real truth myself- or I might just decide it's a moot point, and just enjoy shooting it.

The cocking mechanism stopped locking after two shots, there's a weird rattling inside, also suuuper loud, do not buy if you don't want to bother neighboors. Also the breach where u put I. The pellet is decoded with rust

Was so excited to shoot this beautiful hardwood break barrel pellet rifle. It shoots excellent. Came with real wood stock..... Very nice scope (Have not installed it yet will update if it is easy or difficult to zero in) Instructions in English. Was shocked at the kick back and sound of this beautiful small game break barrel rifle.I would highly recommend this rifle is you want a break barrel. 11 year old has no problem with it. But it is heavy with the solid wood stock.I want to say I was wanting to cancel because the shipping got messed up, glad the seller replied and worked it out with me THANKS!Edit : Installed the scope. WOW this is a nice little package.

I found the scope to be of poor quality. I removed it & sighted in the “iron sights”, instead. The front sight is too tall. The sights did align & prove to be very accurate, but the rear sight had to b lowered almost all the way down. In doing so, it becomes very hard to aim. The but if the rifle has to be held, so almost all of the stock is above my shoulder. I had others sight down it too & they experienced the same problem. The actual construction of the rifle is excellent. The hardwood stock is very nice. The piston system & the solid construction produces a powerful, high velocity air rifle. It’s unfortunately very uncomfortable & difficult to shoot without a scope. The font sight just needs to be shorter. This would allow for the rear sight to be raised, which would make the rifle a better physical fit for the shooter.

Just got the gun tonight. I know there is some confusion on what gun you actually get. This is what came tonight. The Amazon Listing photo shows a Wood Stock, but it's Synthetic. The Amazon description says Gas Piston but the Manual and Box say it's a Spring Piston. It is a Dual Barrel 177/22 Caliber. Top of the gun is marked "Sportsman RS2 Series". The box says velocity is 1000/830 FPS. The gun came with the 177 barrel installed. The barrels are very easy to switch and the gun looks decent. Gun was marked down and I got a $60 credit after I signed up for Amazon Credit so it was dirt cheap. I'll keep it even though I was buying a Gas Piston Model. Hopefully is's a good shooter, I'll find out tomorrow!
