This bottle opener really piqued my interest when I saw it on the selection list.I received the black version of this bottle opener. It looks very chic. The outside of it is, made of stainless steel. The interior is what feels like a sturdy plastic, and there’s a magnet on the end to allow the bottle cap to stick on it once it’s opened.I had a few friends over the other night, and they thought this opener is a hoot. They each took a turn using it, and thought it worked well.I honestly don’t know how this is more efficient than a regular bottle opener. By the time you use it, you have to use the opposite hand, to take the cap from the magnet. The other option, is to try to slide it off of the bottle, by pressing downward, and sliding the device over a surface. But that, can send the cap sliding off and falling on the ground. By the time I used that procedure, my friend opened 6 bottles of beer. I’m not saying it doesn’t work, but the amount of time necessary from start to finish, doesn’t equate to saving time. It may just be me.There is one thing that could be beneficial. My older brother had a huge collection of beer cans,(unopened,) When he ran out of room, he moved on to bottle caps. Unless the bottle cap has a twist off cap, it’s nearly impossible to remove them without bending them. This would work perfect to solve that issue.In summary, this bottle opener is a really good idea, if you just want to have fun with you friends. It seems to be really well made, but for me, it’s just not very practical. I’m only going to take off 1 star, because it does do what it’s intended to. I personally, don’t want one more thing cluttering my limited space, when I already have a bottle opener that works just fine, and fits nicely in a drawer.
