This is a really neat design. The can holder twists onto the base with about an eighth of a turn, and then the dispersal cylinder slides into that with ease. The reason I think it's a great design is because after you're done using it, all these parts disassemble easily, and cleaning will be a relative snap. Too many of these sorts of items are difficult to clean and cause me to avoid them. There is part of me that wants to order another one in case it's discontinued because I like it that much. I really recommend this to anyone who is into this sort of cooking.I am happy with my order and I hope this was helpful. ✔️ Thanks!

I really like this nice stainless steel beer can chicken cooker- I never thought it was a great idea to use an actual can- I strongly suspect there are things not good for you connected with the can and the materials that color it This one does not hold the can, it gives you a place to pour the beer, wine, or whatever you want to use to infuse flavor iand moisture into the chicken, and then perch the chicken on it. The whole set-up seems quite sturdy, and should reliably support the chicken. Unfortunately, since the weather has been nasty, cold, rainy and a lot of hard wind, I have not yet had a chance to actually use this on the barbecue/ smoker.You can also put some veggies in the basket around the chicken, or use the basket part alone for veggies when you are not cooking chicken., and sort of stir-fry them in it of kind of gently roll them around iin it.I have used a cooking basket for that before and it did well, so I am sure this one will also. I am looking forward to getting past our winter into nice weather and a little warm sunshine so I can dare roll the smoker out and cook a beercan chicken. I will have to use the smoker since the kettle-type Weber does not have room fto hold an upright chicken on this rack if you want to be able to put the lid on itIt is nice that this basket and the infuser part come apart quite easily and can go into the dishwasher., too- always a nice feature.
