Just a quick reminder that this doesn’t measure by ounce.I bought this item for portion control - weight loss. When keeping to the specific product nutrition, you usually measure by ounce, not a general ‘portion’ size.One serving on this tool was equal to 4 recommend servings for a box of whole grain spaghetti.My mistake, product is aesthetic and well made. No issues with inserting spaghetti like stated in other reviews.

I make gluten free noodles for myself and then make regular noodles for my family and so finding a single serving amount was always a guessing game. I find that this little gadget helps me measure out the correct amount for a single serving.

This product appears on Amazon to do the job but loose pasta is very difficult to measure. Trying to "feed" the pasta thru to measure is very difficult. It looks much easier than it actually is.

Most measurer have strict sizing. 1-2-3-4 portions, man-woman-kid sizing or adult/kid portions. What I like about this measurer is yes it have 1-2-3-4 but it's a slider so you can decide to make 1.5 and have same amount each time. You just put how much spaghetti you have in, close it and see how many portion that is, take or add some and get exactly what you want.

Have used it a few times and it really helps me figure out how much pasta to cook since my pasta is in a container that's mixed in with other boxes of pasta!I love noodles, so I usually do 2 portions for myself... haha. I bought the portion pasta thing for the purpose of losing weight, and I still make 2 portions... hahahhaI have to buy another one cause apparently while I was gone, my partner decided to measure his "noodle" with it and proudly announced he's 2 portions, as well. So I guess if you want to use this for another function...Overall, it's convenient, small, stores easily, and works like a charm on all sorts of noodles, apparently. Definitely recommend if you want to portion!
