Item comes well packaged, with holders for pillar candles or tapers. Screws and anchors were also included. You have to scres the taper holder and the drip edge to the main section, but it's straightforward and the pieces fit together well. It didn't take long to hang them up, the hardest part was making sure the two were lined up on each side of the picture I hung them near

If you are looking for a traditional wrought iron look -- what you would get from the forge of an 18th century blacksmith -- these are not it. As shown in the picture, you can see streaks of the silvery metal through the black coating which seems to be paint.Still, I like them. I especially like the flexibility to use either a pillar candle or a taper by just screwing on the right part.These are about 3x more expensive per holder than a similar competing item that I ordered near the same time. If you like the hand forged look of the metal J that goes against the wall, then these could be worth the difference to you.

I really like these candle holders, and it’s really easy to switch out the holders to go from pillar to taper.They’re also a good weight, not flimsy at all, and the twisted metal gives it visual interest.Im not sure if I would snap these up at the price of $32, but I do feel like it is a fair price.

I love both the simple look and the hefty feel of these sconces. Unfortunately, one of my taper ends was cross-threaded, and it would not screw in. The other taper end screwed in to either side with no issue, so it was only the one. I had gotten these specifically for the taper holders, but the pillar platforms work well also. I have a barn board wall in my den, and these look perfect there.
