It fits perfectly on most barrels. It's sturdy and tight enough to not come off. It's a great value for the price.

It seems quite sturdy. Hopefully it will hold up to a shotgun.

Bought this to mount a molear flashlight to my rifle barrel. It's a .22 with a feed tube; I figured this mount had long enough screws to fit over both barrel and tube, seeing as they're relatively thin.It didn't work. It almost did, but I didn't trust the fact that it was held together by one groove only so I scrapped the clamp itself.Thankfully, this product is two-fold: a clamp connected to a picatinny mount. I took the mount off, attatched it to a scope clamp I had purchased earlier, and the parts fit together like a charm. Now I have the light mounted, offset to my scope but hey, it fits perfectly. The screw-clamp portion failed me, but that was an error on my part, so NBD there. I was able to salvage the purchase thanks to a flexible and versatile product that seems to hold well and won't break under normal use. Take a chance and grab one of these mounts for your needs.

I purchased this particular type of mount for my Remington 870 with an 18-1/2" barrel with stock length magazine tube. There are many flashlight mounting options available for shotguns with extended magazine tubes which utilize the space between tubes. Since I have the stock magazine tube, I needed a barrel-mounted version and chose this one. The circular portion fits a 1" diameter flashlight perfectly snug. The triangular clamp fits the 870's barrel with just enough room and clamps down firmly with 4 screws. The screw threads do not make contact with the barrel, but I did put a ring or two of high temp electrical tape around it just to avoid scratching the barrel. I'll check it out after a day of shooting but other than practicing to learn the pattern of my short barrel, I primarily use a 28" barrel when shooting. When I make the easy swap from 18-1/2" to 28" barrel, the flashlight and holder will stay with the 18" barrel, so I doubt it will see much abuse. I wanted to clarify the various reviews I read - some claiming it didn't fit an 870, some claiming it did and others stating they reversed the clamp and used the triangular portion around the flashlight and the circular portion around the barrel. I think the scenario where this wouldn't fit are on guns with extended magazine tubes. But for situations like mine, it is a good application. I'd suggest verifying your flashlight is exactly a 1" diameter. I had a few decent, inexpensive "tactical" mini flashlights laying around that fit perfect (I'll list the model below). Since my use case is for stand-by Home Defense, these will work fine. I do plan on putting a few rounds through the gun with the flashlight in-place before switching to my regular barrel, just to see if the clamp holds firm. Until then, it seems to be a nicely machined, well-made aluminum clamp suited for the purpose. The screws allowed me to tighten the clamp securely without breaking. Another review mentioned the clamp breaking but I'd guess that they cranked down on the screws unevenly. I tightened all four by alternating screws and turning each one a little bit at a time until all 4 were secure. This ensures the clamp is tightened evenly (the same principal as tightening lugs on a tire). As for positioning, I shoot lefty, so I have my light on the right side of the barrel when shooting. My use doesn't require a pressure switch and my flashlight has a large button on the back, so it's pretty easy to operate this way using my right hand. I recommend this clamp for uses similar to mine. For 9 bucks you can't go wrong. I gave it 4 stars because the setup protrudes a little too much for my liking, so I "like" it rather then "love" it - but other than that I think it's a good product. If interested, here is the flashlights I picked up that look and fit good (I removed the pocket clip): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CEOII9K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1NOTE: I purchased this item on Amazon for full price and have no affiliation to the seller. Very satisfied with the Beileshi flashlight and laser mount adapter. This makes a great addition to my Browning Buck Mark .22 pistol. Since the Buck Mark does not have a rail to attach accessories, this barrel adapter does the trick. I attached a green dot laser to the adapter and installation was very easy. I definitely like the ability to use a laser for target shooting and plinking. I highly recommend this adapter to anyone looking to attach a laser to their pistol that does not have a rail.

Solid mount, especially for the price. I mounted it to a .410 Home Security 500 Mossberg and used a G2 Surefire for the light. It gave me a few options to include a small rail. My mother loves it and its a solide mount. Highly recommended.

Nice item but definitely made for smaller shotguns, maybe Bantam. The circular part of the mount fits my 1" diameter flashlight well and will just barely fit my Mossberg 835s action tube, but the triangle mount will fit neither of these, meaning it's has less than a 1" diameter, mostly due to that triangle design from what I can guess. Because of that this thing is utterly useless to me. Nice price and cool little design but definitely not meant to fit a bigger shotgun like my duck hunter.
