I was afraid they might be too small, but I actually like their size quite a bit. Your needs for these are probably different than mine. I wanted to use them in a video where I might not even have their true audio dubbed over it. So, the sound quality didn't matter much to me. I also knew they would be used on a green screen, so they couldn't have any green in them. But, they needed to be big enough to be spotted in the video. These checked all the boxes for me.But, as a musician, I can also say these feel good and sound good too, so that's a nice bonus. For the price, these are excellent. I looked at so many different available options and I'm very glad I took the plunge on this set. I'll probably have them for many years. I do intend to actually record with them at some point too.

They are small, it also has little sound value. They are colourful.I do not feel I got what I paid for for value of product. I’ll give to grandson for playing I guess, not worth sending back,

I use them these in my classroom instead of clapping to motivate students. At the time I ordered these were the lowest priced wooden maracas I found on Amazon.
