When you think about lowering your Sport Truck or SUV, historically the most overlooked component is the shock absorbers, with many Sport Truck or SUV owners simply leaving the factory units installed as a "good enough" after thought. However, when you lower your Sport Truck or SUV, many of the components that you will use reduce the effective travel of the shock absorbers and can render your OEM shock absorbers virtually useless. This results in not only poor ride quality & reduced driving enjoyment, but a large safety concern. The first time you need to perform an emergency maneuver like swerving to avoid a child, animal or another vehicle on the road, you will quickly find out exactly what we mean. Excessive body roll and an incredible amount of front lean on braking, and rear dip on acceleration are all effects of a shock absorber (or more appropriately named damper) that is not working correctly as it is out of its element or operating range. You have effectively tied the dampers hands behind its back, not enabling it to do its job and control or dampen the movements of the suspension. Belltech's parent company KW automotive is a world leader in shock absorber technology and is relied upon for their expertise in suspension tuning by some of the world's most demanding OEM and Aftermarket companies such as the ACR Viper team at Chrysler, Mercedes AMG, Novitec Ferrari, and Hennessey Motorsports. KW automotive engineers in conjunction with Belltech Engineers have spent countless hours designing and tuning a complete new line of shock absorbers exclusively engineered for Belltech Sport Truck, SUV & Muscle Car applications.

This are hands down best shocks ive had... ive used monroes, bilsteins and parts houses private labels. They are great and they work amazing on my dropped gmc sonoma. They are not perfect though; I had to cut the end off for them to fit... which i knew going in but why do i have to do that. They should be ready to install out of the box. I dont know if they are now non warrantied because end of was cut... I'll find out in the future i suppose and update the review

Had to modify the bottom mount to bolt these on also had to remove the cover to get them through the coil and up to the top mounting location i will not buy these again I'll stick to the less expensive belltech nitro shock which mount right up without issues as far as the ride goes i honestly do not see a difference versus the regular nitro shock. These were installed on a 94 s10 with 3 inch drop.

Great product. Installed on my v810 to help with the added front end weight and it definitely made a big difference. YT Masta13100.

Everything went as plan during install but couldn't use shaft cover due to clearance problem mounting thru control arm...no big deal, the body of shock is almost covered by frame/control arms and the covers came off easily after removing rubber bushings. Ride control feels better than the McGaughey's ever did. Wish I had ordered the rears ...but they were a Christmas present for my son and I wanted to be sure they worked well and they do !
