Fans were not coming on, I tested the circuit by grounding the wire going to the old switch and fans worked so I knew I needed a switch.Replaced with this and after bleeding the coolant from the screw on the thermostat housing the fans finally kicked on!If you are running your heater it may keep the coolant too cold so test with heater off after you replace.

This image is what my 2nd gen 2008 looks like but if you look at the image of this Which I Didn't of course this one I received Is Round Rat Tail And mine is Oblong.My Fault For not looking more closely at advertising image but it did say it fit a 2008 klr650

While Amazon claimed that this is the correct replacement radiator coolant fan switch for my 1997 Toyota Rav4, it is not. The actual radiator coolant fan switch looks very different and neither the thread size nor the electrical connector would work with my vehicle.
