My vacuum cleaner shredded the belts they were the right kind for my vacuum, but when I started using the vacuum and I check and make sure it was working and nothing was blocking. The belts just disintegrated.

I installed the belt. It was very tight but I was able to install it. I let it rest for nearly 24 hrs to stretch as recommended. The belt broke within about 45 seconds to a minute. I will install another and hope for better results. I wonder though, the old Hoover 562932001 is probably twice as long as this replacement, but the belt stretches into place. Why did they make it so tight?

I was a little nervous at first since my vacuum model # wasn't included in the description, however, I took the Belt # right off the belt that broke.The vacuum works perfectly now, and I will be sure to save this order in case I need to replace in the future.

Ordered this belt per part number 38528-033. Tried two of them. They are very tight and last one minute at the most. Part numbers on bag: X0038YQCML . Belts for Hoover 15 UH70116 . Just a waste off time and money. Do not buy.

I was surprised at how tight the fit was. Old belts stretch out so these belts had a much smaller circumference than what I was replacing. I measured them and they are exactly the right size. Expect a tight fit and replace belts often because over time they do stretch out and begin to slip.Quality and price seemed good.

Fits, but the belt broke in less than two minutes worth of vacuuming… literally. So now half of my living room is clean. I will change this review if I have better luck with the other 3 belts.Update: 2nd belt seems to be working fine.

Proper size is the key to smooth operation to much tension on the belt will compromise longevity and efficiency.
