Overall, the product is good quality, but the fact that there are only two choices of color is misleading. I had a wooden Bemis toilet seat on my American Standard toilet, but it was not the soft-close kind. The toilet is not white, so I thought the only other Bemis seat choice, biscuit, would work. Nope. I did not return the product, even though the color was slightly off. The only other thing I did not like at all was the plastic bolts and screws (for lack of a better word). One side broke off, and it's on their tight.

Who knew the importance a toilet seat could have in a bathroom remodel?! This seat is perfect in every way. I have an American Standard toilet in the color linen. The Bemis Ashland seat in the color biscuit is a perfect match (and I am picky)! It is a wood seat and is a slow close. It matches better than the expensive, ugly plastic seat from American Standard that looked like it belonged in an elementary school. This Bemis seat brought dignity and style to my bathroom and I love everything about it! I will share pics of both seats.

The installation process was so simple, the nut design to lock the mounting so it will not loosen is genius. The seat is well constructed and the slow closure feature works well. I'm very happy with this product.
