Although the instructions were very easy, for my knowledge of sewing I over thought how to put pieces together which made me have to cut 2nd pieces.

This is the second pattern from Funky Factory that I have used. If you label your pieces and follow all of her directions, it is so easy. I have made five bears in two weeks.

Sorry, but while this bear is adorable, it is no where near being a beginner pattern. I’ve been sewing for years and set it aside because it is so time consuming!

I have never made a stuffed animal before and I got this pattern because it says it is for beginners. I really loved it. It was very carefully written to be easy. The instructions are clearly written. There was no confusion, or at least, if it seemed confusing, I just followed the instructions and it turned out wonderful.

This pattern is advertised as a "beginner" pattern. THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER PATTERN. I bought it because I was going to teach my 12 year old grandchild how to set, cut and sew an easy pattern. Very complicated.

This booklet was a little confusing. You definitely need some sewing experience. I found going to the website was very helpful I wish there was video instructions to correspond. I made the bear using some of my dad’s shirts.
