These paddle glide through the water and move the kayak quickly. They look like a paddle should look.

Used once, snapped in half after about 30 minutes of paddling in smooth water. I thought I was buying a quality paddle, but it turns out it was just a pretty one. The center fiberglass snapped in half. I am not exactly strong, and it was just normal rowing. At least I was able to paddle home with half a paddle.

Bought this to go with an adirondack pack canoe that has wood trim. Beautiful paddle, nice quality and weight. The handle portion is not perfectly round, a bit oval, which is my preference for kayak paddles.

The paddle cost as much as my used boat, but it is worth evety penny. It looks beautiful and feels wonderful in the hand. It is light, strong, and nicely balanced.

We much prefer these wooden paddles by Bending Branches than the fiberglass and plastic paddles. The wood is more stiff and feels better in hand. We have two sets now because we liked them so much.

Beautiful Paddle, high quality and lighter than my aluminum/fiberglass paddle. Looks very sturdy and seems that it will last for a long time. The rock guard feature on all bending branches wooden paddles gives me more confidence when kayaking on shallow waters. Would definetly buy again... Although I don't think that I'll need another paddle...

I love this paddle and manufacturer. I use it all the time and talked my brother into purchasing this same paddle. It has nice flex and is durable enough to push off rocks and gravel without harming the blades. Not only is it functional but it also looks great. Would highly recommend this paddle to any avid kayaker.
