I used this to cut/mold clay. It worked perfectly. It is thick, durable and lightweight. It is easy to clean and a good size to work on. If mine breaks then I would purchase another in a heartbeat.

My daughter uses air dry clay and loves being mobile with using it. This has helped keep her mess under control and allow her to move about the house. Great value for the cost and functions just as we had hoped.

A few years ago, I sectioned a portion of our garage to use as a home pottery studio (and use a local studio for the kiln). At that time, most of the wedging boards I could find were quite large so I tried to make a DIY wedging board with so-so results.This wedging board is perfect for me. Doesn't take up a lot of room and allows me to wedge my clay (usually I make pieces in the under 2 lbs category) easily. I like the handle and it's easy to clean.
