Stinky but obsessed! The moment I opened the can of this krill treats, my dog was immediately drawn to the strong smell. Honestly, I found it pretty pungent, but I decided to use it as a food topper to see his reaction. He devoured his dinner in record time! I guess he’s a huge fan, so if your pup loves fishy treats, this is a winner!

Riley, my red-eared slider, has officially declared these freeze-dried krill his new favorite treat. And by “declared,” I mean he flapped his little arms in excitement and did his signature water splash when I sprinkled these in his tank. If turtles could Yelp, he’d give these 5 stars too. Here’s why Riley—and honestly, I—love this stuff:Simple and Pure: Just one ingredient—freeze-dried krill! No fillers, no sneaky additives, just straight-up goodness. Riley appreciates the simplicity, and so do I. It feels good to know exactly what I’m giving him.A Nutritional Power-Up: These aren’t just tasty; they’re packed with flavor and nutrients. It’s like sprinkling a gourmet topping on his usual turtle chow. Plus, if you’ve got a picky eater (cat, dog, or turtle alike), this will turn mealtime into a Michelin-star experience.Convenience in a Jar: The 1.5 oz jar is the perfect size—compact but packed with krill. Bonus points for the included scoop, which makes portioning a breeze. No more guessing or overdoing it (though Riley wouldn’t mind if I did).Pros:-Made from 100% freeze-dried krill—nothing extra, nothing unnecessary.-Easy to use: just sprinkle and watch the magic happen.-Adds both flavor and nutrients to daily meals.-Loved by pets of all kinds (Riley approves, and I suspect your furry friends will too).Cons:-None—unless you count the fact that I’m now being aggressively stared at by Riley every time I open the treat jar. These freeze-dried krill treats are a hit in my house—or, more specifically, Riley’s tank. They’re pure, easy to use, and make mealtime feel like a special occasion. If you’ve got a turtle, dog, cat, or picky eater in your life, these treats are a must-have. Just be prepared for some very expectant looks every time you walk by with the jar. Riley recommends it, and I’m right there with him!My Rating System Explained:⭐️ 1 star - Unfortunately, this product falls short of expectations due to its poor quality. I cannot recommend it.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - While there are aspects to appreciate, the product suffers from significant drawbacks or is priced too steeply for its value. It's difficult to recommend.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - This product is adequate; it presents some issues but generally meets basic standards of quality. It's a reasonable option for those willing to overlook its flaws.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - A commendable product that delivers on its promises. It provides a satisfying experience and is worthy of consideration.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - An exceptional product that exceeds expectations. It offers outstanding quality and value, making it a top recommendation.

I had high hopes for these! Single ingredient, good for our cats, that sounds greatThey all ran over when I opened the container -- the smell is extremely strong (dried shrimp-y smell, I don't mind this but my boyfriend HATED it even from across the room. These babies are potent)They couldn't wait to come sniff theseUnfortunately that was about all the hype they got. 3 of 4 cats will not eat them, at least dry. I will try wetting them and see if that helps but right now this is looking like a dud for our picky kitties. They do come in a nice resealable jar, which is a plus. Maybe somebody else's cats will benefit from them.

I think cats appreciate something different once in a while and these certainly are. They are all natural and whole. On first glance, they look like some little puffed cheese snack, but on closer inspection you can see the krill parts.I poured hot water over a little bowl on them and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.Half the cats were excited for these and ate them. One did puke after, but in general I think these were fine on their stomachs. What the cats seemed to like most about these was the broth created by reconstituting them. What I dislike most is the strong smell. The container also comes with a little serving spoon wrapped in plastic but I didn't feel like fishing it out with my fingers. Also, I didn't give this to my cat with allergies since the package warns of potential allergies.
