Very affordable price compared to other brands, I can pack all different lunch items in here for our son. It goes in the dishwasher every night and no signs of damage (going on. 4 months now) will buy this brand again when we need another one

The product doesn't boast that it's leak proof if you dig deep into the fine print. However, it's misleading that Amazon asks people to rate this and even more misleading, people have rated it as such. I was looking for leak proof and went by the decent rating.Only after it came and it leaked awfully, I noticed that it wasn't marketed that way. So it's annoying that Amazon asks you to rate how leak proof it is.As for the box itself, the price was absolutely right. We use it for dry snacks only on outings and it works well for that. Very tight lid but did wish I'd investigated more. I had to buy another one that was actually leak proof.

I have a bentgo kids lunch box for each of my children. Having extra trays means that if ever I forget to wash one out, or it’s still in the dishwasher, I have a backup I can quickly pack. The lid is great too, since it means I can prep and store the lunch in the fridge and don’t have to make lunch every morning. The lid is sturdy enough that you could use it on its own, although the seal is not as tight as on the lunchbox itself so it won’t work for yogurts or sauces. Overall good value and a great addition to the set.

This product works great and is priced reasonable. The only thing I recommend is getting it for a smaller child. The portions are a little small for my 10 year old so I just send a couple of extra pieces of fruit or snack in his lunch bag. Great for kids that like a variety and don't like their food touching.

Es pequeño. Y difícil de abrirlo para niños pequeños (mi hija de 4 años no puede hacerlo) el espacio redondo es muy pequeño (casi del tamaño de una moneda de $10) por lo que no cabe gran cosa. No es hermético (se chorreó todo el jugo de la fruta picada) y el revés es complejo de lavar a mano por los zurcos. En general no me encantó aunque la idea es buena podría mejorar el recipiente. Aunque los bentgo más completos son extremadamente caros (más de 600$ MXN) así que pues si buscas algo sencillo esta es la opción sin ser lo mejor.

I love these trays. I send my kids' lunches in them every day. Before I found them, I packed each kid’s food in multiple tiny containers and tossed them in lunchboxes, which resulted in a bunch of dishes and overflowing kitchen cabinets. The Bentgo trays are durable, easy to clean and store well (the trays stack and I put the lids in a bin). They're small enough to fit in their lunch boxes and hold plenty of food (my kids are 4 and 5, but I could easily fit my lunch in them, too). The snapping lids are also a plus- they’re tight enough to seal the containers, but are still easy for the kids' little hands to open and close. I highly recommend them. AND… I love all the color options.

I bought this for my kids' lunches at parent's day out. They like all their food separate, lunchable style, so this worked well for keeping their turkey, crackers, fruit, etc. separate. The tray and cover aren't leak-proof or insulated. You'd need to get the bigger outer case that bentgo sells for that, but this worked well for our needs and was a lot less expensive than the bigger case. Turns out, we use these for everything. We take lunches to the park, meals to restaurants that don't have anything my baby can eat, etc. They have been worth every penny. It saves the trouble of buying reusable plastic bags for lunches. These trays can be easily washed in the dishwasher. I would highly recommend.

These boxes are great one there own but they work the best if you get the outer shell too. I like to use these to make meals ahead of time. Then I just take off the clear lid and put it in the leak proof case.This is the review I wrote about the bentgo kids box with the outer shell.I don't often write reviews, but these boxes are amazing. I bought my first bentgo box 4 years ago and still love it. I now own several of them. My kids think they are fun to eat out of and are always excited to see what's inside. They don't leak at all! They have a 2 year warranty and are very durable. I just had one break for the first time and we aren't gentle with them. I called customer service. A real person answered the phone!! They were very friendly and replaced my box without a hassle. The customer service and the boxes are both great!I would get a few inserts with the clear lids and an insert with the leak proof case.

So glad I found these, they are perfect for my 18 month old to have his daily lunch in. Often I dont even have to fill all the compartments with foods. They are perfect size for a standard lunch box, and I fit slim ice packs above and below to last until lunchtime. The center circular cubby is pretty small, use it for ketchup or ranch. They dishwash well, the lid is super with 6 snaps all around, and the value for buying 2 or more to switch out through the week cant be beat. I'll often put a frozen pouch in the largest compartment packed with other food, too - serves as extra ice pack and everything is totally ready to eat by noon. His teacher just takes off the lid and sets the whole box in front of him, he loves getting his little fingers into each section to treasure hunt for whatever is yummy.We just Love love love these!

This is extremely durable. I’m pretty sure I could run over it with my car and it wouldn’t break. The plastic is thick and does not bend, even when a lot of pressure is applied to it.The compartments are smaller than I expected. I can fit one half of a sandwich in the largest compartment. I do like the versatility of the compartment sized and have made many yummy lunches with this. The size is perfect for my toddler, but may be too small for older kids with larger appetites.However, I knew Bentgo as a leak-proof brand. And let me tell you, this is NOT in any way leak proof. I’ve tried jello, ranch dressing, mangoes, watermelon, and other “juicy” fruits. If there is any amount of liquid in this, it will leak. Does not matter how little or how much. The only fix I have found to work is to use a piece of cling wrap over whatever “liquids” I have in this lunchbox - this has worked well for me and 75% of the time prevents leaking.Overall, I do enjoy this lunch box and it works well for what I bought it to use as. I have recommended it to friends and I do use it twice a week. I’ve had mine for nearly a year and it works just the same as the day I bought it.
