Out of all the braided line that I have used over the years, fireline is my favorite. Wayne under rated strength and casts way better than the competition

I do all my bead weaving with fireline due to its durability, strength. I love the 6 pound weight and the 125 yd spools in Crystal and smoke. I don’t have to wax this fireline that is fused and very strong.

TL;DR Great for bead work. Myuki Delicas fit & line glides smoothly through. May need to add wax every once in awhile.I find this to be a better value then buying specific beading thread. This Fire line is very strong. I’m able to Peyote stitch with it, or even other weaving that’s putting a lot of stress on the line. Every now and again I add wax so it won’t have the chance to fray. This line becomes almost invisible when in use. So great coloring there. It’s thin enough that Miyuki Delica fit & glides smoothly.

There's a Nobel Prize in Chemistry for a mono without memory that won't tangle on a spinning reel. This is slightly better than most, but not a prize winner. Handles crappie on my ultralight rig nicely. The color helps detect the light biters and does NOT scare away fish.

I've been using Fireline for years and have caught many decent sized fish on it. It holds up and lasts a considerable amount of time. Holds up very well to normal fishing wear and tear. Highly recommend for a high quality fishing line

So I bought this to troll for walleye with a couple of spinning reels. I needed metered line to make sure my crankbaits are at the proper depth. Berkley claims that this line changes color every 10 feet. Great. Just what I need. But the problem is that it is not every 10 feet. The color changes anywhere from 9 feet 6 inches to 10 feet 6 inches and its not even consistently off or I could compensate. 10 percent off the mark means that if I want to go 90 feet back from my planer board to achieve an accurate depth I could be off by 10 feet which on certain deep diving crankbaits translates to a big difference than what my trolling data indicates. So, thanks a lot for wasting my time and money. I'll make sure to avoid Berkley products (lures, line, etc.) like the plague in the future.
