I’ve been doing dragon boat casually for about four years now. Very quickly I realized I needed some kind of cushion due to my boney butt. (The top of the bone would grind into the seat. Not good.) I had been using a somewhat thin cushion with a little wrist strap. That helped some, but I’d still end up with a slightly sore butt. I tried this one today for about two hours and no sore bum. It is very dense (not very squishy) and has a bit of a very subtle rough texture to it almost, so it is not slippery at all. It is a bit of a tight squeeze to wrap it around the seat (need two hands for sure), but it was very secure after. So far I’m very happy with it.
