I put one of these on both floors of my house. Works great. Helps me monitor the settings on my humidifier. Very simple device and very inexpensive.

It is not accurate at all, unfortunately I purchased two items, but both give different reading.Both don't match the website reading for humidity outdoor.

i bought 3 hygrometers; all different manufacturers, similar prices. 2 of 3 agree. this one however, reads about 15% higher, but not consistently 15, and didn't seem to respond appropriately when i took it outside, to see if the reading went up; it was very humid outside (but also hotter than inside, so it's hard to say). So, on the latter, it's possible I"m all wet (humid), but the 15% higher inside, that's not good. also, the dial has no markings/readings other than 0,15,25,35,60,75,100. nothing finer. so you'll probably get a reading >25 but less than 60. the other two meters have markings for each percent; that's how i can tell the other two agree on their readings. there is no way to calibrate it; the other two have a screw head exposed where i could calibrate them. (I haven't changed the calibration since I have no accurate reading, unless I went by the weather service?) not good.

Easy to read and great size. Can be mounted on a wall. Very good for the purpose. Seems a bit more durable than I expected it to be and I really am happy with it.

Hygrometer seems to be very accurate. Have used to measure humidity in great room. Using a humidifier to increased humid this winter.

I like it, it does the job. I also bought a digital one because it included the temperature of the room as well, and there is a slight variation between the two, just placed in different ends of the room. But overall, good.

I bought two of these and they didn't calibrate equally; one was reading a higher level than the other. They both did respond to humidity changes though. They have no calibration mechanism, so you just have to take a leap of faith that they are working and are close enough. If you just need one for the room to check occasionally then these should do the trick. We have a humidifier in our room for our baby, so we wanted to just keep an eye on the humidity level and get a basic idea. If you need accuracy, I would look for another product.
