The blower fan fits well and is operating very well so far - only 5 weeks since I installed it.

It’s taller than most and comes with stickers rather than a magnet. So, installation was difficult, but it is very quiet. So, once installed, I’m very happy with it.

I just bought this home and the gas fireplace did not come with a blower fan, I think it's such a waste to use those things and let all that heat escape. Did some research and found this little gem, my fireplace did not have an outlet under it so I had to run the cord out the front to an outlet next to the fireplace but lucky the cord was long enough. I just used some very strong double stick thick tape to attach it to the back of the stove, hooked all the wires up as diagram shows and left the control know inside the bottom of the stove. The heat switch is magnetic and just sticks to the bottom of the stove, once the stove reached 120 degrees the heat switch turns on the motor and I just set the ran speed just a little below high which was quit enough not to really notice but blows out plenty from the top and made my room so much better. If I can install this thing anyone can. I hope to get an electrician out sometime to add a plug under the stove but from looking on YouTube videos most stoves should have a plug under them. Mine has one but it is not grounded and didn't look like it was hooked up.

Tested the heat sensor to see if it'll trigger the fan and it didn't work. It's too late for me to return this as I've procrastinated too long to install it but I recommend that you test it out as soon as you receive it and before you shove the thing into the tiny space under the fireplace.

This had all the main parts needed for my 33" Majestic fireplace: blower, temperature sensor, speed adjuster, and wires. It fit well with room to spare. Installation took about 15 minutes. There are a bunch of videos online showing the basic process.Additional supplies needed:• Double-stick foam tape (about 3 inches to stick back of fan housing to back of fireplace, and 1 inch to stick the speed controller in place)• Phillips head driver (to attach the ground wire to the fan housing)• Scissors• Zip ties (one about 8" for the bulky and very long power cord, and one about 4" for the remaining wires). Note: avoid having the wires touch the upper/hot part of the fire box.If your fireplace is not new (as was my case), you may find that when the blower first turns on it sprays dust all over the place. If you have an infrared thermometer, you might find it handy to determine the hot/cold spots on the bottom of the firebox so you can improve your temperature sensor placement (which is magnetic and easy to move WITH THE FAN UNPLUGGED or you could shock yourself).

This fan looked the same as all of the others and was the best price. Tested unit before installation to ensure the fan was well balanced, it was, then installed in 5 mins or less.I have a Heatilator fireplace and used the middle outlet to supply power to the fan.I did not mount the fan speed control unit as it is easy to lift the mesh screen and adjust fan speed. The fan is not noisy but you can hear it running if you do not have any other background noise. You can not hear it above the TV so no concern there.
