I only needed a rear window but getting a window replacement kit is over $400. Saw this on an Amazon sale for $295. Can't beat that for a deal.Installation is quick and it fits nicely without being too tight.

upgrade from 20 y stocks, the black was def hotter and the new tan is great and cooler. tint is perfect, fit was a glove and no leaks. road noise is reduced and overall its nice.will update

Doesn't fit my 99 TJ properly. Have had a couple of these over the years, but this is the worst fit I've seen. Usually the Replace-a-Top goes on tightly and loosens over time--I expected to have this be the issue. This one went on easily--too easily. This one is too loose, specifically at the front over the seats between the doors. It's like it's 3/4 of an inch too wide. I don't drive the Jeep that much, so I didn't really notice until I got it on the highway. When I got to highway speeds the flapping was enough to pull the top out of the door surrounds. Had to stop and put the top back--then was forced to drive home slowly to keep it from ripping out again. I've never had that in a Jeep top before. Will look to get a different one as this one does not fit--I"m assuming this is a slip-up that made it past quality control. Everything else about the top is great--but if you can't trust it to stay on the Jeep those things don't matter much.

I received my Bestop replacement top for my 1998 Jeep Wrangler and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product and the ease of installation. I am old, impatient and stubborn, and my wife is just stubborn. We watched a quick Bestop YouTube video to figure everything out, and without any fighting or further instructions, we had the new top installed in less than 35 minutes, in 99 degree weather. This is a true testament to the ease of installation. The only small thing I would recommend to Bestop, that would speed up the installation process, would be to pre-punch the top’s holes, where it is screwed into the frame that rests of the windshield. It would have taken a degree of guess work out of the process.

I originally ordered the Bestop Pavement Ends top. When I opened the box I knew the quality of fabric was not even close to same quality of what was already on my 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sport so I returned it and purchased this Denim Replace-A-Top. Night and day difference in fabric quality and thickness of the windows. Pavement Ends top was super thin and cheap looking fabric while this top was much thicker and nicer looking. BIG difference! This top was super easy to install and everything lined up perfectly. Just take your time putting it on and you will be very happy with the outcome. Allow about 10 to 15 minutes to remove the old top from the hardware and maybe 20 to 30 minutes to install the new top. You don't even have to remove the support bars to install this top. The only tool I needed was a Philips head screwdriver, to remove the screws that fasten the top to the windshield header-channel bar. Everything else is snaps and Velcro. This top is also much quieter than my old top. Very happy with this product.

I've been looking for so so long for the new top on my 02 jeep wrangler sahara and every time I looked I kept getting tops for TJs that didn't even fit my car. This is probably the first one that 100% granted that it would fit and it does. I'm very happy with it, pretty easy installation and I like how the windows are slightly tinted. My old top the windows were to dark and it was hard driving at nite looking out of them sometimes. Pretty fit.

I like the top installation was easy and it seems a good fit for most TJ Wranglers unfortunately it did not fit mine. This does not appear to be the fault of the Top as I have tried both a Smittybilt and Bestop both had the same problem. Yet the Bestop fit another TJ perfectly somehow there is something different about my jeep the top frame fit the old Sailcloth top just fine but replacement tops will not fit without modifying the rear tubular frame. It's wasted a lot of my time, money and sanity trying to get a new top that just fits. without a lot of angst, grief and cussing.
