It’s exactly what it says it is. It helps hold up the duster cover and blocks a little wind. Everyone complaining about huge gaps are wanting a fully enclosed soft top and that is not what this is or meant to be. It’s a windjammer. If you want a soft top buy a soft top. Most that don’t know what a windjammer is have never owned a jeep before and never experienced bikini tops and windjammers! They help keep some dust and a little rain out but not completely!

I have a jk unlimited so this works pretty good but there is still a decent gap between the headrest and door (I have hard doors) which lets in a lot of airflow. I got these to go with a bikini top which I take on and off weather depending and figured my passengers in back seat would have reduced air flow with this which they do but the airflow is still significant; but hey it's a jeep. Quality is top notch and I have the matching trunk cover and this attaches really well to that with the optional snaps.

It could easily be 5 inches wider on each side. It doesn't even use the entire plastic hook available on the duster. If you use it with the extender then you are dealing with extra fabric on the extender and fighting forces with the upper straps and the extender lower straps that leave one or the other not looking or fitting right. And with this piece being one that is directly viewed you would think it would be double lined and be black inside and out and not the white inside underside tarp looking material. This product just seems like alot was left on the design table.In short, this was a waste of money as was the extender I had bought earlier. As with the extender I have an idea to make it better but I shouldn't be having to do this when it should be something I get when I pay for it the first time.
