Sooo I broke the thread by now stating the collet into the cap part of the er40 collet and cross threaded it like a dummy then tryed to fix my theads ended up Omost getting it and seasing it on reaping my 9/16 collet permanently inside used a 3 foot pipe wrench no dies don’t do what I did

I ordered this product because the listing claimed 0.0005" t.i.r. . This product actually has 0.005" of run out from the ID to the outside surfaces. Not suitable for precision work at all. The listing for this item is one hundred percent false in reference to the accuracy of this item. I happen to be a journeymen, tool and die maker.I own my own machine shop.

These are surprisingly great quality! Frankly they look beautiful. I haven't checked accuracy but based on the finish, I'm confident that they will be fine.
