A friend of mine decorated a couple of lovely Ukrainian Easter Eggs for me and I wanted a simple stand to display them in. These wooden egg stands were just what I was looking for. My friend suggested putting a drop of wax in the bottom of the cup, which is quite shallow in order to display more of the egg, and then gently sticking the egg to the wax. This will keep the egg from falling out of the cup if one of the cats jumps up to the top of the bookcase (unlikely) and knocks it over.Please see customer image for a picture of the Ukrainian Easter Eggs in their wooden egg stands.

I collect gemstone eggs, These are sturdy enough to hold the larger eggs in my collection but also work well with the smaller eggs and they look very attractive in the display case I keep them in.

I ordered these because from the review write ups i thought they might be appropriate for a larger egg. they are not.
