Bought this stool for my son to use when playing his double bass. The floor grips are pretty cheap and showing significant wear after two uses, plus it does not grip well and shifts when sitting down. The chair is super light weight which is great for travel, however it’s so lightweight that it shifts when sitting down and doesn’t stay and starts to collapse too easily rather than stay in the seated position which my son found bothersome and annoying. Looking for something different and higher quality. This would be good for a garage or utility stool.

Might have held up if you weighed between 150-175. Was not even used everyday. Coach with back problems needed to be able to have it with him to be able to sit between intervals of walking to different areas of the field. Great idea, lightweight and folds up. Not sturdy enough. Looking for a better built stool now.

I'm using this for a piano keyboard that I like to set up pretty high.It's a comfortable seat, easy to fold, and very light. A keeper.

It's lightweight, easily foldable ( after silicone spray) and helps my elderly mom with arthritis still be able to cook for herself. The height is perfect for the counter/ sink.

Positives: very lightweight, folds to flat, nice and high for when you need a higher seatNeutral: comfort is ok, not horrible but I wouldn’t say comfortable seat comes to mind. Not uncomfortable either. Kind of like when you are sitting on bleachers… definitely works well for an hour but after and hour feels like you wish you had some padding.Overall for a very lightweight, portable, high seat height stool this is great.If you are looking for something that is super comfortable this may not be the chair for you.
