The canvas was pre-printed and the garn was numbered. This helped me a lot making it. It is the first one which I bought that everything was like that. The garn was also more than enough.

The pattern (squares) on the paper and pillow match so easier to follow. I go by the pattern on the paper. The yarns are marked. However, the crochet hook has a sharp piece at the end which i cut off.

Color printed on item is so pale you can hardly see what color goes where. Very disappointed!

Beautiful and of great quality! The colors are rich vibrant and the finished pillow looks exactly like the picture! Makes for a lovely gift!

This kit is overall good value for money, but note 2 issues that I have noticed across kits by this maker: (1) the canvas is not stitched straight onto the pillow backing, so you often get like a half row that disappears midway down the seam. This isn't a disaster as long as you study it very carefully before you begin and make necessary adjustments (e.g., adding an extra row or partial row to the pattern). (2) The yarn colors sometimes aren't true to the picture. Some are more garish than pictured. Kids don't care, but I noticed.

The kit came and everything was nicely organized, yarns were all separated by color, the pattern was on a sheet of paper and on the canvas, all came in a clear carry case, however the canvas/pillow stinks. It smells a bit like rotting fish. Not sure exactly what was used on the pillow case to make it smell that way but it is gross. I"m going to try to wash it if I can before making the latch hook because I don't think I could stand the smell while working on it. If you are sensitive to smells this definitely might be something you want to avoid it looks really nice other wise.

A fun little project to do! The orange is a VERY tacky color and does not match the rest at all. But I'm not that mad about it.
