I have been playing for over 60 years and have bought dozens and dozens of straps and harnesses. BG are my favorite for several reasons, including easy adjustment when switching from alto to tenor. I just wish that there was one available in white. I am old so I still dress up and wear a white shirt on occasion. Maybe impractical for BG to make??

Looks odd but it has saved my neck and I can play for longer. Great

He notado mucho al cambio entre el arnés que llevaba y este: el peso está mucho mejor repartido y propicia que apenas "se cargue" la espalda. Una excelente compra.

I bought a women's BG harness like this one and it's excellent--strong and very comfortable. AMAZEBALLS!Previously I used an Oleg harness, and I had to use padding and gaffer's tape to try to make it comfortable. It kept cutting into my collarbone and was just not comfortable at all. Even with the extra padding it's uncomfortable.I got the women's BG harness with the metal swivel clip, and it's amazeballs. VERY COMFORTABLE and I can tell even with my band's hectic dance moves I'm going to be very comfortable, strong, and stable. The BG strap is much stronger than the Oleg strap which came unsnapped on the two auxiliary straps that clip on the top of the neck strap in the back during our dance moves. That was annoying. The metal swivel hook for the BG is strong and I'd trust it. But I thought it might wear through the O-ring on the sax, so I took it off and replaced it with a carabiner. I use a Home Depot carabiner for my BG harness on tenor, and the aluminum carabiner is about as soft as the little ring it clips to on the sax so it doesn't wear through the ring on the sax too much. The carabiner is rated for 150 lbs, make sure it says it's rated for way more than the weight of the horn if you expect it to handle the shock of jumping, marching, or dancing. Home Depot calls it the "Richelieu Hardware Aluminum Spring Snap - Assorted Colors 3-1/8 In."You can set up any of these BG harnesses for a carabiner easily because there's a ring like you use for your keys on each side where straps meet near the front. I add a third keyring in-between these behind the carabiner so it stays hanging down when the sax isn't on the harness, rather than it going sideways. With this setup I'm extremely happy!
