I started playing contrabass clarinet about three months ago and it was strongly suggested by my equally-nerdy clarinet nerd friend to pick up a "good ligature" before I played on someone else's LeBlanc contrabass during the festival at the beginning of October. This mouthpiece served me well, as did the Legere 2.5 synthetic reed. Since then, I've acquired my own LeBlanc contrabass and have performed on it twice. Nice ligature. It's not my first from B&G, as I have one of their ligatures for my bass clarinet.
